UNION TRADE GROUP NUMBER 11 CONFERENCE

On May 20, in Hanoi, the Trade Union Group No 11 Conference, including joint stock companies belonging to the VNPT Group Trade Union, took place. Attending the program were Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan - Chairman of VNPT Trade Union; Mr. Quach Manh Phuong - Chief of Office of VNPT Trade Union with leaders, permanent representatives and officials of unions of member units in Trade Union Group No 11.

At the conference, Mr. Tran Dinh Hung - Trade Union Chairman, VNPT Technology Board member, Head of Trade Union Group No. 11 shared that although the production and business activities of most units faced many difficulties, the trade union activities is still organized with a prominent mark. Many units in the group have actively participated in the movement of donations and support during the epidemic, movements launched by VNPT Trade Union, serving the Group's events. The units in the group still maintain, promote the tradition of good emulation and taking care of employees' lives first. Many units have held dialogues with employees, well implemented the prevention of the Covid-19 epidemic, education, and internal communication activities associated with the directives of the VNPT Trade Union and VNPT Culture.

In 2022, the unions of the units in the group will continue to coordinate with the Professional to promote production and business activities in the new normal conditions, especially encouraging employees to contribute to the business's activities; actively promote the digital transformation of enterprises, including the digital transformation of trade union activities. With the spirit of "Agreement in both horizontal and vertical for the sustainable development of VNPT", the trade unions of the group, officials and employees are determined to unify the will, work together, side by side, taking advantage of opportunities, exploiting and effectively using all resources, promoting the achievements achieved in the past years, overcoming all difficulties and obstacles, striving to successfully implement the goals and tasks in 2022.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan - Chairman of VNPT Trade Union acknowledged the great contributions of Trade Union Group 11 in the completion of tasks, targets and production and business plans of the profession and ensure the life of employees. Experiencing 2021 with the complicated developments of the Covid-19 epidemic, the group has actively supported the activities of member trade unions, demonstrating VNPT's gratitude and humanity to trade union members and employees. Comrade Nguyen Anh Tuan proposed Trade Union Group 11 continue to promote the implementation of Action Program No. 249/CTr-BCH-CĐVNPT of VNPT Trade Union on the implementation of Resolution No. 09 - NQCD/ĐUTĐ dated 22/12/ 2021 of the Group's Party Committee on "Improving the position and role of VNPT Trade Union in the new situation". At the same time, Mr. Tuan also affirmed that in 2022, VNPT's Trade Union will promote digital transformation to improve the efficiency of trade union activities. To be able to become a pioneering model in digital transformation as well as the task of leading the national digital transformation entrusted by the Government. Therefore, VNPT Trade Union needs great support from expertise and contributions from member unions.

Regarding the topic of digital transformation, Mr. Tran Huu Quyen - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Board of Directors of VNPT Technology said that the goal of Digital Transformation is to bring new values to the organization and a decisive factor for success of Digital transformation is not technology, but thinking, unifying the perception of all leaders and employees. Comrade Tran Huu Quyen said that digital transformation in the Trade Union organization needs a high degree of unity, all in order to serve the ultimate goal of business development and take care of the material and spiritual life of the employees.

Within the framework of the Conference, many member trade unions presented in-depth discussions on the issue of Digital Transformation in Trade Union organizations; Solutions to ensure jobs and income for employees of the Joint Stock companies in the new situation. The conference also honored 24 comrades who won the title of typical employees from the units in the group.
