VNPT Technology implements a scientific topic on e-government

On July 10, 2018, VNPT Technology and the management units from the Ministry of Science and Technology (S&T) held a contract signing ceremony to implement 02 S&T projects under the key national level S&T program on the e-government; Code KC.01/16-20.

The program "Technology research and IT products development for e-government", code KC.01/16-20, is one of the key national level S&T programs in the period of 2016-2020 directly managed by the Ministry of Science and Technology. The main goal of the program is focusing on research, building models, platforms and technical solutions for e-government development; conducting research to master technology, to design and build specialized hardware, software and IT services for e-government activities; studying and formulating a number of national standards and technical regulations acting as a basis for e-government development; proposing, formulating mechanisms and policies to promote the application of IT in the management activities of national agencies.

Attending the signing ceremony, there were Assoc. Huynh Quyet Thang, Vice President of Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Program Manager KC.01 /16-20; Mr. Le Xuan Cong, Director of Department of Science and Technology, Ministry of Information and Communications; Mr. Dao Ngoc Chien, Vice Director of the High Technology Department and Mr. Tran Do Dat, Vice Director of the Key National Level Program Office, Ministry of Science and Technology. From VNPT Technology, there was Mr. Ngo Hung Tin, Chairman of VNPT Technology's Board of Directors, Deputy General Director of VNPT Group; Mr. Tran Huu Quyen, General Director of VNPT Technology; along with several leaders from related departments.

At the ceremony, representatives of VNPT Technology, together with representatives of the Office of Key National Programs and representatives of the Department of High Technology, signed 2 contracts to implement 02 S&T projects under KC.01/16-20 Program, including Research and development of secure computers for the e-government, with the goal of mastering hardware technology, Camera System software, ensuring equipment authentication and data security on transmission lines, protecting data stored in equipment, detecting and preventing unwanted harmful attacks; and Researching, designing and building highly secure Camera systems, with the goal of mastering the technology of designing, building and manufacturing personal computers based on Intel's reference architecture, to meet strict requirements on security and safety information as well as configuration for e-government development.
