VNPT TECHNOLOGY UNION IMPLEMENTATION CONFERENCE IN 2022

On 22th March, at the headquarters of 124 Hoang Quoc Viet, VNPT Technology Trade Union held a conference on implementing trade union work in 2022. The conference was attended by Comrade San Thi Binh - Vice President of the Postal and Telecommunication Trade Union; Mr. Quach Manh Phuong - Chief of Office of Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Union; Mr. Tran Huu Quyen - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Board of Directors of VNPT Technology; Mr. To Manh Cuong - Member of the Board of Directors, General Director of VNPT Technology; Mr. Tran Dinh Hung - Member of the Board of Directors, Chairman of VNPT Technology's Trade Union together with the Board of Directors, Executive Committee of the Company's Trade Union and member units.

At the conference, Mr. Tran Dinh Hung - Member of the Board of Directors, Chairman of the Company's Trade Union reported to summarize and evaluate the activities of VNPT Technology Union in 2021. Although it was a difficult year due to the influence of the Covid-19 epidemic, but with the consensus of the trade union and its member units and over 1,000 trade union members, VNPT Technology's trade union has completed the work program and well organized the emulation movement, taking care for the lives of trade union members, employees and social security activities, contributing to the implementation of democratic regulations in accordance with central regulations and VNPT corporation, and at the same time, together with expertise to complete the task assigned.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. To Manh Cuong - Member of the Board of Directors, General Director of VNPT Technology emphasized that the company's trade union has performed well its role in connecting and motivating employees, especially during the period of social distancing. The union encourages employees to ensure safe production and implement the dual goals, limit the impact of the epidemic on production activities, significantly contribute to company's overall results. Specifically, the average consolidated income of employees in 2021 reached 21.1 million/month (25.1 million/month for staff, 9.9 million/month for workers), an increase of 13% and 21% respectively compared to 2020.

On behalf of the standing union of VNPT, comrade San Thi Binh - Vice President of VNPT Trade Union congratulated and highly appreciated VNPT Technology Union for a serious and professional preparation; Thanks for the great contribution of union members and trade union VNPT Technology to the common development of VNPT trade union. VNPT Technology's trade union has performed an excellent communication role in a very difficult situation and environment due to the impact of the epidemic. Comrade San Thi Binh also said that ensuring the average income and jobs for workers at VNPT Technology during the epidemic is very respectful. She also emphasized, implementing Resolution 08 on strengthening the leadership of the Party in developing VNPT women and Resolution 09 on Enhancing the position and role of VNPT Trade Union in the new situation of the Party Committee, VNPT Technology's Trade Union needs to focus on developing a suitable action program for 2022, continue to innovate, digitalize trade union activities, organize movement activities, and focus on grassroots.

Mr. Hoang Quoc Huy – Vice Director of Hardware Embeded Center expressed his appreciation for the companionship and concern of the trade union for employees in recent years, many health care activities such as  vaccination, test kit give away... along with the union's efforts in maintaining stable jobs, created an impression and confidence for employees to accompany the business.

With the solidarity, efforts to overcome difficulties of the staff, union members, employees, workers' movement and trade union activities, VNPT Technology believes to complete well the set goals, thereby contributing to fostering more tradition so that VNPT Technology's trade union organization continues to grow, mature, affirm to be a reliable support, and wholeheartedly strive for rights benefits of union members and employees.
