MORE TABLETS PROVIDED FOR STUDENT IN SON LA PROVINCE
On November 20th, VNPT Technology Youth Union cooperated with the Youth Union of VNPT Vinaphone, the Union of Song Da Corporation and VNPT Son La to organize a program to donate waves and computers to students with disadvantages in Chieng Hac commune, Yen Chau district, Son La province.
This is an activity in response to the program "Waves and computers for children" launched by the Prime Minister and wishes to narrow the digital gap between remote and urban areas, among disadvantaged students and the more fortunate ones.

The program gave 30 tablets sponsored by VNPT Technology, with sim card and Vinaphone package for students with difficult circumstances with good academic results.

Along with that, 1 online meeting room including computers and large screen TVs, 30 scholarships "VNPT support for Vietnamese talents", over 450 gifts (including essential necessities, school supplies) with a value of over 200 million VND, was given to students in Chieng Hac commune.
Also at this program, VNPT Technology Youth Union; The Youth Union of VNPT Vinaphone Corporation and VNPT Son La presented 1,000 mango seedlings to 20 disadvantaged households in Chieng Hac commune.

Through this meaningful activity, VNPT has promptly helped teachers and students, together with the education and training sector of Yen Chau district, Son La province to overcome difficulties and complete the school year plan program in the context of the ongoing Covid-19 epidemic./.
