VNPT TECHNOLOGY'S ONE FARM SOLUTION TO PARTICIPATE IN ITU DIGITAL WORLD EXHIBITION 2021
On the evening of October 12th, 2021 in Hanoi, the Digital World Conference and Exhibition (ITU Digital World 2021) officially opened. This is the second year that Vietnam has hosted this important event.
Attending the event were Mr. Pham Minh Chinh - Politburo member, Prime Minister, Chairman of the National Committee on Digital Transformation; Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung - Minister of Information and Communications, Vice Chairman of the National Committee on Digital Transformation, Mr. Bui Thanh Son - Minister of Foreign Affairs; Mr. Tran Van Son - Minister, Chairman of the Government Office; Mr. Le Quang Huy - Chairman of the Committee on Science, Technology and Environment of the National Assembly; Mr. Houlin Zhao - Secretary General of the International Telecommunication Union.
A year ago, ITU agreed with Vietnam's initiative to change the name of the event, from World Telecommunication Conference and Exhibition to Digital World Conference and Exhibition. The change of the event's name after 48 years of existence also followed the change in the content of the event, which is the convergence of telecommunications with IT and digital technology. And because of this change, since last year, the number of ministers and leaders of global ICT businesses attending the event has increased by nearly 3 times. This year, the event has the participation of 158 countries, 32 ministers, 8 deputy ministers, 90 speakers from international organizations and large global technology corporations.
At ITU 2021, the smart agriculture solution ONE Farm researched and developed by VNPT Technology is honored to appear in the booth of VNPT Group to attend the exhibition.
